Problem
Small and medium retail businesses operating multiple branches were using separate, disconnected tools for POS, inventory, stock, accounting, and HR. Data reconciliation was manual, stock discrepancies were common, and there was no single view of business health across locations.
My Role
Solo developer responsible for product architecture and full-stack implementation across POS, inventory, accounting, HR, multi-branch access, and subscription workflows.
Solution
Built a unified cloud SaaS platform handling real-time POS transactions, inventory and stock management, multi-branch accounting, and HR workflows from a single dashboard. Built with Next.js, Supabase (PostgreSQL), and deployed for both single and multi-location retail operations.

Architecture
Developed as an enterprise-grade web application utilizing the cutting-edge Next.js 16 (App Router) and React 19 framework. The architecture is fully serverless, relying on Supabase SSR for secure server-side authentication and scalable PostgreSQL data persistence. It features an offline-capable Progressive Web App (PWA) layer powered by Serwist. Complex data rendering is optimized using TanStack Table and Virtual for handling massive datasets efficiently. The UI is built with Tailwind CSS v4 and highly accessible Radix UI/Shadcn components, ensuring a premium user experience. Advanced reporting capabilities allow for real-time PDF (jsPDF) and Excel (xlsx) generation entirely on the client side.

Testing Strategy
Adopts a highly rigorous testing methodology using Vitest and React Testing Library. It includes extensive unit, component, and integration testing. Property-based testing is implemented via fast-check to mathematically prove the reliability of complex business logic. The jsdom environment is used to simulate edge-case browser interactions ensuring UI stability.

Fully automated deployment pipeline utilizing GitHub Actions and Vercel. Continuous integration ensures strict type-checking (tsc), linting (eslint), and comprehensive Vitest test suite execution on every pull request. Automated preview deployments are generated per branch to facilitate agile QA processes before merging to production.

Performance
Highly optimized for data-heavy operations. Memory usage is strictly controlled via TanStack Virtualization to render infinite scrolling lists without frame drops. Global state management (Zustand) and API caching (React Query) minimize redundant network requests. The application is completely ARIA compliant, fully keyboard navigable, and seamlessly supports light/dark themes utilizing next-themes.
