Problem
The client's teams were managing compliance, risk, audits, and governance across disconnected spreadsheets and email threads. Preparing for audits took days, non-conformance issues slipped through without tracking, and leadership had no real-time view of KPIs or risk exposure across the organisation.
My Role
Full-stack developer in a five-person product team, contributing React and TypeScript features, AWS-backed services, and database workflows across governance, audit, risk, and reporting modules.
Solution
Built a centralised SaaS compliance platform covering SWOT/PEST analysis, RASCI role governance, asset management, process frameworks, audit and gap analysis workflows, objectives and KPI tracking, and a real-time risk and incident register — all with role-based access control. Built with React, Redux, AWS CDK, and MySQL.

Built as a highly responsive Single Page Application (SPA) using React and Vite to ensure fast build times and optimal performance. The architecture heavily relies on Redux Toolkit for centralized state management, while AWS Amplify is integrated for secure authentication (Cognito) and robust API communication. The UI is crafted using Tailwind CSS alongside Headless UI to maintain complete design flexibility and accessibility.
