The ranges on this page are real starting points, not bait. After a 30-minute discovery call I send a written scope with a single fixed price for the work described. That price does not move unless you ask for something outside the scope, and then you get a written estimate before anything is built. Hourly work for small fixes is available at a rate quoted on request.
Payments are milestone-based — the project is split into agreed stages and each one is invoiced as it completes, so you are never far ahead of the work. I invoice in USD or EUR and accept Wise or direct bank transfer, with a formal invoice for your accounting each time.
You can stop at the end of any milestone. You pay only for the milestones already completed and you keep everything built up to that point — the repository, the code, and the documentation. There is no cancellation fee and no clause that holds your code hostage.
You do — 100%, transferring on final payment, with no licensing conditions attached. You also have GitHub access from the very first commit, so the code is in your hands throughout the build rather than arriving at the end.

Yes — that is most of the work. I am based in Sri Lanka (UTC+5:30) and work 09:00–21:00 local time, which gives a full working-day overlap with Europe, the UK, the UAE, Australia, and New Zealand, and a solid morning overlap with the US East Coast and eastern Canada. US West Coast clients get a smaller window, so we schedule calls deliberately and lean on async updates.
Yes, and I would be suspicious of any developer in 2026 who says otherwise. I use Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code the way a developer uses a compiler or a debugger — to move faster on the parts that are mechanical. Every line still gets reviewed, tested, and understood by me, because I am the one who has to maintain it and answer for it.
Two at a time, maximum. It is why the next start date on this page is a real date rather than "available now" — taking a third client would mean both existing ones get worse work.
Yes, and it is some of my favourite work. I start with a paid code review that gives you a written assessment of the state of the codebase, the risks, and what it would cost to fix — you can act on that document with me or with anyone else.
Two weeks of bug fixes are included with every project — if it breaks, that is on me. After that, you can move onto a monthly retainer for ongoing work, come back for one-off feature builds, or take the documentation and continue with your own team. All three are fine.
A short brief covering who the product is for, the must-have features, your timeline, and a budget range. Before the build starts I also need brand assets, content, and access to any existing code, designs, or accounts the project depends on.
